xReg.co.uk Payment Policy
xReg.co.uk offers low cost and full featured domain registration and related
services. This document explicitly states our policy concerning payment, charge
backs and payment disputes.
1. Payment Methods: (Domain
registration and application fees are not refundable. Account balance refunds
can only be given at the discretion of the Company Management! Always resolve
issues you have through accounting@xreg.co.uk.)
Worldpay
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards through Worlpday. Worldpay is
our third party payment provider which allows us to accept a wide range of payment
methods in multiple currencies. To make either a one-time purchase or deposit
you must have your card present on the Worldpay secure payment page. In order
to keep pricing at an all time low and operate our service on extremely low margins,
we pass the transaction charge on to you which at the time of publication is 4.5%
+ 25p.
Paypal
Paypal deposits must be initiated through the xreg control panel, any payments
send directly to our email address will be rejected. The reason for this is so
that our system can interface with the IPN so that your xreg account is automatically
credited once payment has been received. Payments from unverified Paypal members
are not accepted. In order to keep pricing at an all time low and operate our
service on extremely low margins, we pass the transaction charge on to you which
at the time of publication is 3.4% + 20p.
Nochex (Preferred Payment)
Nochex deposits must be initiated through the xreg control panel, any payments
send directly to our email address will be rejected. The reason for this is so
that our system can interface with the APC so that your xreg account is automatically
credited once payment has been received. Payments through Nochex Xtra are welcome.
There is no transaction charge for deposits made through nochex.
Cheque Deposits
We only accept pound sterling cheques drawn from a british bank account. There
are no minimums or maximums although we do deduct a transaction charge of 99p
for deposits under £50; this is because the bank charges us. Deposits of
£50 or greater are exempt from the charge. Please contact accounting@xreg.co.uk
with the amount you are depositing and the xreg username.
Bank Transfers
There is a £100 minimum on deposits by bank transfer. There is also a transaction
charge of £25; this is because the bank charges us. Deposits of £1,000
or greater into your account are exempt from the charge. Please contact accounting@xreg.co.uk
with the amount you are depositing and the xreg username.
2. Disputes
Charge backs (or similar action by another
payment provider allowed by us)
Charge backs are an expensive and unnecessary way to handle domain registration
disputes. xReg takes charge backs very seriously. For each domain charge that
is charge backed we will do the following:
- Reclaim control of all the domain names in your
xreg account (which includes stopping all traffic to your domain names and transferring
ownership to xreg);
- £250.00 GBP FEE for the charge back will be added to your name and
will be required to payback in addition to all associated fees and charge backs
before we release the domain name(s);
- The name(s) will be locked so they/it cannot be transferred to another registrar;
- We cannot delete the domain(s) and get our money back as the registry does
not refund. So we sell all your domain names in a private auction within 30 days
if not paid to recoup a little of the money we lost;
- We will add you to the negative customer database which will prevent you from
registering domain names in the future.
- Reclaim any delinquent monies by civil legal suit.
